What this site collects, and where it goes

This is a small advisory practice website. The technical footprint is deliberately minimal: there's no advertising network, no user tracking, no behavioural analytics, no cookies set for marketing purposes. This page exists to make the small data flows that do happen visible and to explain what you can do about them.

What's collected when

When you submit the contact form: Your name, email address, and message are sent to Formspree (a form-handling service operated by Formspree Inc., based in the United States), which delivers the submission as an email to Argo. Formspree may set a short-lived session cookie in your browser during the submission process. The submitted message is retained by Formspree according to their data retention policy and forwarded as email; no copy is stored on this website's servers.

When you visit any page: Cloudflare Web Analytics records anonymised visit data (page URL, referrer, country-level geography derived from IP address, browser and device type) for the purpose of helping us understand which pages get read and where visitors come from. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set tracking cookies, does not record individual visitor identity, and does not combine your visits across sessions into a profile. IP addresses are processed for the analytics computation but are not stored alongside the analytics data.

When you click an external link (for example, to a sales deck on Google Drive or to LinkedIn): you leave this site and become subject to the privacy policy of whatever service the link points to. We do not track outbound clicks.

That's the whole list. No other data is collected, set, stored, or transmitted by this site.

What we don't do

  • We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other behavioural tracking service.
  • We don't sell, share, or rent data to third parties.
  • We don't display advertising.
  • We don't profile visitors or build audience segments.
  • We don't use cookies to remember preferences or track sessions across visits, beyond Formspree's short-lived form-submission cookie noted above.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Estonian privacy law (Isikuandmete kaitse seadus), you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of any personal data this site or its service providers (Formspree, Cloudflare) hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) if you believe your data has been processed in violation of GDPR

To exercise any of these rights, write to argo@rannamets.ee. Requests typically take a few business days; we'll route the request to Formspree or Cloudflare as needed and confirm completion in writing.
